About Us
The Kitchener-Waterloo Weavers’ and Spinners’ Guild is based out of Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Our online shop features handmade products crafted exclusively by our members. Many of our artisans use locally sourced fibre from Canada including from some of our very own members owning alpaca and sheep farms. Some of the items are handspun, hand dyed and all of the items are unique and lovingly crafted. You can look in item descriptions for the details of each piece.
All proceeds of sales go back to the artists with a portion going toward running the Guild, so your purchase directly supports our members and our Guild. We are an independent, not for profit organization that is able to run through grants, fundraising and membership participation. During these times of COVID-19 it is especially important to have your support through your purchase, so thank you!
Our artisan friends from the Waterloo Potters' Workshop have also opened a new webstore, so check them out too! We've always had our in-person sales next door to each other.
Classes, Workshops and Membership
We also offer classes, workshops and are open for membership applications. Whether you are a beginner or master of the craft, there is connection and learning available through us! If you'd like more information, send us a message through our Contact Us form.
