All my life I loved knitting and sewing. I never considered weaving at all. Then in 1995 my youngest daughter suggested that we try spinning yarn. She’s a reporter and did a story about the Kitchener/Waterloo weavers and spinners Guild and noticed they were offering a spinning class. We enrolled and the rest is history. I took Spinning 2, joined the guild and was soon amassing a lot of yarn. They suggested learning how to weave and weaving became another fun hobby for me. All the possibilities that evolve from weaving are so much fun to try. Making my own fabric continues to give me joy as well as learning from the amazing weavers I hang around with!
